Studied Textile Design at West Surrey College of Art and design 19778-1981. After 2 years set up as freelance designer.
1986 : Set up Spotcheck Ltd with partners Susie Lees and Rose Kennard working mainly in the apparel market and showing weave designs at trade fairs such as Interstoff, Frankfurt. By 1988 was working more in the furnishing field, showing at eg. Surtex, New York, and Heimtextil, Frankfurt. Left Spotcheck in 1992 to be independent, though, in more recent years, working on projects and showing collection with Annette O'Toole.
1997 : Set up "RIB" with husband, Richard Bush, which acts as agents and technical support for Digital Weaving Norway in the UK, as well as taking care of U.S. design sales.
Over last 10 years have lectured regularly at Central St. Martin's School of Art, London and Brighton University, as well as taking on occasional teaching blocks at Winchester School of Art and Chelsea School of Art, London (where a TC-1 and loom is currently being used as part of the curriculum).
