It will cover a brief description on the techniques used to produce this type of fabric as well as how to simulate it. Lately, fabrics that show texture are making their presence in the market. Seersuckers show a nice textured stripe effect that is fairly simple to make.

The Pointcarre Textile Software offers a variety of tools that help achieve realistic simulations of fabrics, and its very flexible. It always seems to be more difficult to simulate a highly textured fabric. Pointcarre offers a possibility to arrive at such simulations at high quality. With its shading feature one can create ones own shadow effect and apply it to a fabric simulation for realistic textured look.
