1.Create a new dobby
We use a straight threading on 16 shafts.
The peg plan is built with13 picks: 12 picks weave plain and the last one floating over the whole peg plan. We need to have an uneven number so the plain weave is working out.
The weft formula is calculated on 13 picks, choose the formula and enter in the dialogue 12 A 1 B.
The weft density diagram should be on 13 picks. Select the pop up menu new and write the number 13.
In the dobby window active the peg plan (one click) and reinitialize it as a plain weave.

Then using the pen tool and the inverse video ink, draw the float an up/down effect.
Make sure that the yarn with the color B is on the same level as the float.
Double click on the dobby icon in the opened up dialogue check the weft density. Back on the weft density diagram draw a dot on the level of the extra weft. This dot will cause a stop of the cloth on the loom.
2. Simulation
If you enter the simulation dialogue the size of the yarn will be calculated by default with 2 picks per dent. The size will appear in pixels (example warp 3, example weft 5). Load the yarns of the calculated size for the plain weave, for the yarn doing the extra weft you need to double the size (example 10 pixels)
In the simulation dialogue check variable densities, than simulate.
