Solution for Artificial Turf

Pointcarre drives synthetic turf production with the very same Tuft module built for Broadloom carpet, adapted to grass fibers. From a football pitch with a club logo tufted at midfield to a residential lawn, the workflow stays the same: draw the pattern, choose the yarn, preview the result and send it straight to the machine. Direct compatibility with CMC, Tuftco, Modra and Vandewiele.

Artificial grass software

A club logo at midfield, a multi color playground or a sports pitch all need real precision. Pointcarre works out the stitch length, gauge and needle movement for every design, then sends the file straight to the tufting machine. Complex graphics get tufted in one pass, no cutting and gluing by hand.

One design tool, for all Synthetic Turf application

Pile height, gauge and yarn structure change with every market, Pointcarre adapts to each one

Sports Grass, Football

High resilience, shock absorption, infill retention

Pile Height & Gauge40 to 60 mm, gauge 5/8" or 3/4"
Yarn StructureMonofilament, Cut Pile, spine profile for vertical memory, high Dtex (10,000 to 16,000)

Sports Grass, Tennis & Golf

Short, ultra dense, predictable ball roll

Pile Height & Gauge10 to 20 mm, gauge 3/16" or 3/8"
Yarn StructureFibrillated or texturized monofilament, curled, loop or cut

Playground & Safety

High impact absorption, multi color, non toxic

Pile Height & Gauge20 to 35 mm, gauge 3/8"
Yarn StructureCut Pile with a texturized thatch layer, often combined with a shock pad

Landscape Grass

Natural look, multi tone color mix, soft touch

Pile Height & Gauge25 to 45 mm, gauge 3/8" or 5/8"
Yarn StructureStraight monofilament Cut Pile plus a curled, texturized thatch base

Cut Pile & Loop Pile

Pointcarre assigns the pile construction zone by zone on the same design, exactly as it does for Broadloom carpet, so a football pitch, its logo and its surrounding thatch layer can all be defined and previewed in a single document before export.

Cut Pile

The tufting hook catches the loop and an integrated knife cuts the yarn at the peak of the stroke, standing individual blades upright for a realistic grass look and optimal ball roll. Used for football fields, landscape lawns and high end commercial turf.

Loop Pile

The hook retains the loop without cutting it, keeping the yarn continuous for high durability, zero directional bias and excellent infill retention. Used for golf putting greens, tennis courts and as the inner thatch layer in landscape grass.

Fiber colors & profile

Every blade combines a resin, a color and a cross section shape, all editable directly in the library shared with Broadloom. Blending several colored monofilaments in the same tuft reproduces the natural, uneven look of a real lawn or matches a club color scheme exactly.

  • Pantone Textile Library, ColorWall CSI and Archroma Color Atlas, all included with Pointcarre at no extra cost
  • YarnMaker makes building a custom fiber from scratch just as simple as building a carpet yarn, even though here it produces a blade of grass rather than a yarn strand

Why Pointcarre Artificial Turf

Logos tufted, not glued

A club emblem, sponsor graphic or field line is tufted directly into the roll with pixel accurate color mapping, instead of being hand cut and glued as separate pieces, removing weak seams entirely.

Less yarn wasted

Exact cut plans, yarn consumption estimates and weight calculations per square meter are generated automatically, reducing waste of high cost polymer yarns before a single roll is produced.

Same engine as Broadloom

Every skill learned on a carpet project carries over to turf, one interface, one file format and one team of designers covering both markets.

Export & Machine Compatibility

Every artificial grass design converts directly into a machine command file, needle bar movement, gauge and stitch length included, eliminating manual programming errors on the production floor. Direct compatibility with CMC, Tuftco, Modra and Vandewiele tufting machines, the same manufacturers Pointcarre works with for Broadloom carpet.

Synthetic turf tiles being laid on a rooftop terrace, planned with Pointcarre Tiling software

Plan the installation with Tiling

Rolling out turf is the easy part. The real work happens before that, in the plan: how each piece gets cut, which way the pile leans so the whole surface reads as one lawn, where the seams fall, how the layout follows the elevation of the site, and how it wraps neatly around a flower bed, a pool edge or a tree.

Pointcarre Tiling handles that planning digitally. Draw the areas directly on a photo or a plan of the site, match the perspective, compose the layout with the correct pile direction and seam placement, then get the exact surface area and piece count before a single roll is cut.
